1994 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible - Indy Pace Car Replica Edition. Number 236 of 1000 made. What a find a true One Owner Mustang Cobra in Rio Red with 22K miles! Well kept and cared for from 1994. Limited driving has helped preserve this instant classic. Early build car and only 1000 were produced. The SVT cobra was the hot ticket in 1994 from Ford and if you wanted the open top this was the only way you could get it! All were Rio Red with Saddle interior just as our car is here. Comes with factory decal box that were shipped with the car and factory window sticker. Clean Car fax shows one owner and accident free! Auto check shows a score of 85 - outstanding! .

History of the Pace Cars
As you may have read by now to celebrate Ford's pacing of the American classic Indy 500 race in 1994 they produced 1000 limited production replica SVT Cobra convertibles like ours here. All were Rio Red and Saddle interior. All 1000 were shipped with the graphics, rear indy wing and instructions in the trunk. That is why some do not have the stickers in place today. There is some great information on the web about the actual cars used for the race - believe there are 5 in total and the one green Kart pace car. All were GTs dressed up to look like Cobras and were automatic transmissions. The SVT Cobra was the hot Ford car - this was the 1st year of the "new SN 95" body and 1st SVT convertible model produced. The warmed over classic Ford push-rod 302 5.0 V8 made the musclecar sound we all know an love - making the Cobra an instant hit with collectors!
